Colonnella is an urban centre and has its old origins. Old residence were found in its territory at Truentuni quoted by Plinio il vecchio (the old) STRABONE e Cicerone. Is situated such as panoramic position. The little city is a modern one even though still keeping the old image. Noted for SAGRE and cultural demostration Colonnella is a city that has a lot to offer to the turists; culture, tranquillity, culinary traditions, and craftsmanship.
Things to see: CLOCK TOWER (Torre dell'orologio):   the city's symbol, which no one knows the date that originated and that keeps its original mechanica of the clock, substituted in 1970 from an electronic systems. Old Fonte (Torre Vecchia): Fonte is probably Roman origins to provide from about 20 mt. tunnel that cross the hill. HOUSE OF SOIL (Casa di terra): Very particular are the houses builted with soil still existing in Colonnella and still today are people living in it, they are preserved very good. SAINT CIPRIANI and GIUSTINA'S CHURCH: The church is a tall building made with brick with a hut roof; has a bell tower with a summit that extends the octagonal dome topped by cross.
